Why wordpress? quickonlinetips.com

My first involvement with Wordpress was on a friends blog.

He’d recently upgraded and something on his layout had gone wrong, a floating column was wrapping below the middle placing all his navigation offscreen. I was impressed at how quickly I could locate the source of the problem and fix it. That’s the main reason I love wordpress. It’s hackable beyond belief without killing your upgrade path.

It’s interesting to hear why others love WordPress though, so I always keep an eye on technorati for new stories of real experiences with WordPress. I’ll start posting a sequence of these under “why wordpress” which should be useful if you have persuad someone else that WP is the way to go (be it your significant other or your boss, or both).

This post at quickonlinetips.com details a move from Blogger to WordPress and highlights a lot of the key differences, challenges, and joys. A good read!

I started using wordpress abut 2 months ago. My knowledge of coding is pretty poor, but wordpress seems fairly easy to use and I have been impressed by how easy it is to get help online with it when you need it.

Well, fixing your friend`s problem had nothing to do with WP as it`s a CSS problem, I believe.
Although, WP IS the best blog-platform!
And if someone can’t believe me then just search Google about anything you like and see which sites come in the first results!
