Themes: skittlish

Another wordpress theme without photography or overt ‘designiness’ which may be appropriate for a business blog wishing to display a lighter edge without going all out cool. I like the clean lines, strong colours, and simple typography of this theme.
Interestingly the author has bundled a number of plugins to ensure they styling of these fits with the style, a nice approach that is becoming more common. I especially like the fact he’s styled up the OpenID logon, I suspect OpenID will just grow and grow through 2007.
Skittlish is a fun, candy colored theme with seven color options. In addition, it has options for fluid or fixed widths. It is hatom supported and I put in some styling for an OpenID login form. I used Christian Montoya’s great comment.php template for the comment section. It also supports the following plugins (included in the download):
- Ultimate Tag Warrior
- Similar Posts
- Live Comment Preview
- Gravatars
- Get Recent Comments
- OpenID plugin (included for the fun of it)
Usual links and things available here. And for a bit of tranquility in a sea of blogs, have a look at his other post here. Found via [Smashing magazine].
If you use this theme do let me know and I’ll add a link as a live example.
