Plugins: Twitter sidebar up

In some ways this is a test to see if the Twitter toolbar from Alex King works, and in some ways a flag to readers that it’s live. Either way - twittering commences! What fun.

If you haven’t looked at this plugin before, this plugin provides a two way connection between your Wordpress and Twitter accounts. Tweet and it can be posted. Post and it can be tweeted.

For this plugin the demo is right on this page, on the middle sidebar. Try it out and let me know how you get on.

btw - I promise that’s the last Twitter post for a day or two.

I came by your site via Twitter. Only last night I was fiddling with Twitter, signed up. I’m wondering whether I couldn’t do a sort of Twitter at my site, without using Twitter that is, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, love the term, “Middle Sidebar” but I know what you mean.

Middle Sidebar, I know. A better term must exist.

As for your ‘twitter without twitter’, I was considering creating a small plugin which would allow for a twitter-like function in the sidebar which could be shared across a number of blogs. I just found it easier to plug into the twitter network, and you get all the benefits of the twitter community throwing you suggestions when you post.
Anyone else interested in a twitterless twitter?
